Proverbs 22:6

Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

Let me hear ya!

Hello and welcome! I am Christina, a loving, dedicated homeschooling mother. I truly believe in what it is we are doing in training up our children. But you know what? It is hard! And everyday I fall on my face and therefore, my knees. But sometimes I just need a friend. I need to vent! God knows I can't do it all and He is there to comfort me and provide. But His floors are sparkling clean and the food is prepared! Sometimes I just want to know I'm not the only one dealing with things... So when you need to vent your kitchen floor is a mess and you don't have time to get to it, I say, "I hear ya!"

Fun Lessons!

Another successful week of school has happened here.  And by successful I mean the kids are great, Young Man is learning lots of great stuff, and we had a great slow start to the mornings with lots of cuddling!

So what better way to practice some spelling than while washing the stove top?  A little soap never hurt anybody, right?  Young Man loves to write in the soap so it's a great way to check and see if he's retaining all those spelling lessons.

And then the stove is clean, too!

Hope it was a good week for you and your littles!

  2. Oops - sorry I removed comment by mistake. Thats not a good start! I am home schooling my son and I find your blog a refreshing change from other home schoolers whose life seems to be too 'perfect'. Your accounts are much more of the real world that I experience where housework, mothering, educating etc. can just feel like too much to all fit in sometimes.
